Do you accept card payments?

Yes we accept all major credit and debit cards. We also accept Apple Pay, Google Pay and Cash App Pay.

Is there street parking?

Yes, there is street meter parking. Alternate side parking rules are in affect on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Is your loc studio wheel chair accessible?

Yes, the salon is located on the ground floor but unfortunately the bathroom is not wheel chair accessible.

Can I bring additional guest with me to my appointment?

Accepted Answer

Sorry but no extra guests is allowed in the salon unless being serviced. All extra guest will be escorted out. Please be considerate and arrange childcare, as the establishment is not child proof.

We have an age requirement of 12 years old and older.

What is the required length of hair to start locs at your salon?

We require clients to have at least 4-6 inches of your natural hair to start locs.

Question 8

What method do you use for twisting? Crochet? Interlocking?

We palm roll only. We do not interlock or crochet.

Question 9

What products do you use to twist with?

Accepted Answer

We use castor oil as our base and gels are a preference upon the clients request or approval. We provide a variety of brand gels to choose from. If you choose not to twist with any products, that is totally fine with us and we’ll just use oil and water.

Is there anything I should do with my locs or hair as far as preparation before my appointment?

Accepted Answer

No, just come with your locs or hair loose and ready to wash. Coming to your appointment with styles that needs to be taken out cuts into the next clients time and may result in you having to reschedule your appointment.

Question 11

What is your late policy? Or what should I do if I cannot make my appointment?

Accepted Answer

We are very punctual with our time. Please arrive at your appointment on time. 10 minutes late will result in you having to pay a late fee charge of $15.  If you cannot make your appointment please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid our Block List.

Do you install loc extensions?

Due to our preference, we do not install loc extensions. However, we start locs with your own hair.
